Dear colleagues,

After four successful European workshops on integrated cardiovascular repair we cordially invite you to the
5th ICR workshop which will be held March 25 to March 27, 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Baltimore with its Inner Harbor at the Chesapeake Bay and its historical and multicultural flair is especially attractive in early spring.

The last workshop gathered cardiovascular specialists from more than twenty different countries.
In 2010 such an international group of experts will again discuss how minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery and catheter based cardiovascular interventions can be combined for optimal treatment of our patients. More and more hybrid operating rooms are installed around the world and more and more interdisciplinary teams are cooperating in
the fields of hybrid coronary revascularization, endovascular treatment of valve disease, and in hybrid procedures for congenital heart disease and thoracic aortic disease.  This is exactly what our team envisioned at the
first ICR Workshop six years ago.

Our program will, as in the last meetings, include lectures, interactive case presentations, and abstract presentations
on all aspects of hybrid interventions on the cardiovascular system. A special section of the agenda will deal with installation and organization of cathlab-ORs and cardiovascular intervention centers. Therefore we strongly encourage participation of cardiac intervention teams.

An attractive international faculty will lead attendees through fascinating ways of cooperation between interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, radiologists, and other cardiovascular specialists.

See you at the 5th ICR Workshop in Baltimore.

Sincerely,
Johannes Bonatti     David Zimrin     Guy Friedrich     Bartley Griffith
